Hi Amanda,

I'm certainly not suggesting it's use as a complete solution, but it's free so I guess their server traffic is fairly high compared with a paid service.

I find it can come in useful though when you've forgotten to do something like make a copy of a file, or send an email to someone who's address you cant remember off the top of your head, etc... It's not perfect, but it might solve some of those little but annoying problems found with being on the road.

I tried this a couple of years ago and found it too slow and not much use for what I wanted it for and so canceled it straight away.

I wanted proper remote access where you could literally work as normal on your own machine, but really it was only any good for say if you wanted to do something simple or grab a file.

You couldn't work in it all day or anything.

I should point out however that this was a couple of years ago when my connection speed was something like 2MB and now it's up to 10MB, so on a higher connection it might just work fine now.

When you say it's a little slow - I'd be interested to know what connection speed you are on at the moment.
